IVI is pleased to share that a patient-centered impact paper, co-authored by IVI’s Jennifer Bright, was released this morning in The Patient – Patient-Centered Outcomes Research. The paper, “Patient-Centered Core Impact Sets – What They Are and Why We Need Them,” encourages thinking beyond traditional health outcomes when determining impact to include other equally (and sometimes more urgent or valuable) concerns patients report as important to them. The authors propose that a patient-centered core impact set be developed for each disease or condition of interest, and/or subpopulation of patients.
