National Minority Quality Forum
Dr. Lee is VP of Clinical and Social Research and Development at the National Minority Quality Forum. She oversees and implements research focused on reducing patient risk and identifying optimal care to reduce health disparities and bring about health equity. She also provides input into NMQF’s overall strategy for research partnerships and health equity research.
Michelle McMurry-Heath, MD, PhD
Biotechnology Innovation Organization
Dr. McMurry-Heath is President and CEO of Biotechnology Innovation Organization. She assumed leadership in June 2020, coming from Johnson & Johnson. The common thread in her work across academia, government, and industry has been broadening access to scientific progress so more patients from diverse backgrounds can benefit from cutting-edge innovation.
Upal Basu Roy, PhD, MPH
LUNGevity Foundation
Dr. Basu Roy is the VP of research at the LUNGevity Foundation and oversees its research awards program. He has extensive experience in community-based participatory research methodology in health sciences research, specifically in projects involving immigrants and minority populations.
